2. Information We Collect
TrailStack is designed with privacy in mind. We collect minimal information:
- Local Storage: Your app settings and preferences are stored locally on your device.
- Video Access: We access videos you select from your photo library solely for processing within the app.
- No Personal Data: We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information such as names, email addresses, or contact information.
- Analytics Data: We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data such as screen views and feature usage. This data is aggregated and cannot identify individual users.
- Advertising Data: We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. The AdMob SDK may collect device identifiers, IP addresses, and ad interaction data. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for details.
3. How We Use Your Information
The data we access is used solely for:
- Processing videos to create strobe composite images
- Saving generated images to your photo gallery when you choose to save them
- Improving the app experience through anonymous analytics
- Displaying advertisements to support free access to the app
- All image and video processing happens entirely on your device
4. Photo Library Access
TrailStack requires access to your photo library to:
- Select videos for processing
- Save generated composite images
We only access the specific videos you select and only save images when you explicitly choose to save them.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. However, we use the following third-party services that may collect data as described in their respective privacy policies:

6. Advertising
TrailStack displays advertisements through Google AdMob. These include:
- Banner advertisements on the home screen
- Interstitial advertisements shown periodically after exporting images
- Rewarded advertisements that you can optionally watch to save images without a watermark
Advertising Identifier (IDFA) and Tracking
On iOS, TrailStack requests your permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework to access your device's advertising identifier (IDFA). This identifier is used to deliver personalized advertisements relevant to your interests.
- If you allow tracking, AdMob may use your IDFA to serve personalized ads.
- If you deny tracking, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalized to your interests.
- You can change your tracking preference at any time in your device's Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.

7. Data Security
Since all data is processed and stored locally on your device, the security of your information depends on the security measures of your device and operating system.
8. Children's Privacy
TrailStack is not specifically directed at children under the age of 13. While the app itself does not collect personal information, third-party services used in the app (Firebase Analytics and Google AdMob) may collect device identifiers and usage data as described in this policy. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
